Pom Tea glass

I love ice-tea. I love good packaging. Pom Tea has both.

After you peel off the plastic wrap, you're left with a tall glass and lid. The only markings left on the glass is the Pom tea logo, which in itself is nice design.

Here's to tea time..

Here is an illustration of me and my family.
Family Illustration.jpg

I love drawing pictures of my family. This one was done using Illustrator.

William is my husband, and Vincent is my son, Britni is my step-daughter.

I have illustration that will be in tomorrow's paper that is of me, Vincent and Britni.

I created a Shrek game page to coinside with "Shrek the Third" that was released today. The game was to find the 19 differences between two movie scenes.

Here is the original scene

Here is the other scene, only this time various parts were altered in Photoshop.

Well, the problem was that there were more than 19 differences, there were 20 total. I only realized this after an astute reader called in and pointed out my error.
I admit I was a little embarassed, but also was glad that readers were looking at my page and having fun finding the hidden differences.

Whenever, I create games or anything for that matter that goes in the paper, I try and make sure it is correct. And when mistakes happen, I don't feel good about them. The only thing to do is make sure that the mistake is not repeated and check, check, and recheck my work in the future.

Here's the answer key with the 20 differences circled.

I went to Rite-Aid today and left spending about $50. Technically, I bought more than makeup, but like I said in a previous post, I am a sucker for good packaging -- especially when it comes to makeup.

The lime green tube of mascara really caught my eye, compared to the standard black tubes. And I love the chrome top to the eyeshadow, very retro. But my favorite is the blush with its art noveau swirl pattern, it's almost too pretty to use...

Two weekends ago my family and I went to Devil's Den in Gettysburg. This is a great place for the whole family to get a chance to climb on some rocks, get a little history lesson in, and enjoy the outdoors.

Don't the rocks look amazing? I think I might paint a picture from this photo.

This past weekend we went to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland. I always loved seeing all the boats floating in the harbor. This is the U.S. Constellation. My husband told our son it was a Pirate ship. And so the whole entire time we were roaming the ship, he kept asking where was the money. I told my son the pirates put their gold in the bank...

I love the Summer. I get a chance to be outdoors. And I like to sit outside and draw.

I dug up some more art from my past.

This was a design I came up with using type as the illustration. The story is about date rape. The woman's outline is made up with the word "no."

Here is a Halloween cover from a few years back. This piece was inspired by Edvard Munch's "The Scream."
