The fun you can have with some cardboard and duct tape.
Take, for instance this weekend, around 6 p.m., William looks over at me and says what if I made Vincent a tank out of cardboard? Now, there is something you need to know about my husband, whenever he decides to build something it turns out to be this huge production. I said sure but you'll need to get it finish before Vincen't bedtime, which is around 7:30p.m.

The final result:

I love Vincent's expression in the first picture. It's like he's thinking "Look what mommy and daddy are doing -- working so hard, and all for ME!" :)
Cute! So . . . did he have it done by 7:30? And what's up with the hot pink duct tape? ; )
Yeah, I wanna know too -- Did Vincent stay awake in the end or did you just motor around the room in the tank yourself? Just slip the boy a few M&M's and he's good to go for a few more hours...
I love that Trace and both commented today. (See, we miss you!)
Ok, so I just watched video. I know ... I'm a dork.
And I do love how the military is now rocking the pink duct tape as well.
Ready. Aim. Fashion.
William choose the pink duct tape, cause we ran out of the silver duct tape. And yep, William finished it before Vincent's bed time.
We have plans to make him a fort this weekend.
Who on earth just randomly goes "What if I made (anyone) a tank out of cardboard?" That's like if Chris randomly said "What if I took a raw beef roast and used it to trap a zombie in our back yard?"
Oh, wait. He WOULD say that.
I can see a future Living Section contest . . . what can YOU create out of cardboard and duct tape?
That's a great idea, Tracey. A cardboard contest for the Living section. I'm going to go pitch it to Buffy and Sue right now.
