Love is in the air, literally. You can hang these string valentines just about anywhere.
This craft is messy, so wear old clothes, tie your hair back and roll up your sleeves. Once you're done, the end result is a beautiful heart-shaped sculpture that is a perfect symbol of your love.

Instructions
Day 1
Steps
1. Spread newspaper out
on floor.
2. Place the broomstick onto two chairs.
3. Blow-up balloons to varying sizes and tie. Then tie them to the broomstick with fishing line.
4. Cover the balloons in a thin layer of petroleum jelly.
5. Combine cornstarch, water and glue in a large container.
6. Stir until you get a ketchu-like consistency. If needed, add more cornstarch to thicken the mixture.
7. Start to unravel yarn and feed through the cornstarch mixture.
8. Gently start wrapping the string in varying directions around the balloon. (See images below)
9. When finished wrapping, cut the yarn and let dry over night. Repeat steps for each balloon.
Day 2
Steps
1. Check to make sure yarn
is dry.
2. Pop the balloon and remove any remaining pieces.
3. Spray paint and let the hearts dry for two to four hours or until completely dry.
4. Use fishing line and hang from ceiling or a chandelier.
Optional step. Add bows to your hearts with ribbon wire.
