Wandering through Indiana after a snowfall. Now, the Hoosier State is known for soybean and corn fields that go on forever, making for arrow-straight roads and flat countryside, For scenic views, visit a state that doesn't feed the world.
Brother-in-law Mike Peters and I cruised down quiet snow-covered roads, then visited the Wabash and Erie Canal Museum, learning about the second longest canal in the world. Will hit that again this summer, when the canal boats take passengers up and down the water.
