Wednesday's early morning fog and dew that covered York County provided an excellent opportunity to shoot over-saturated colors and tiny drops that covered anything green.

This water drop on a blade of grass, lit with a flash from underneath, provided nice color and contrast. Photo was taken with an extension tube on a 17-55mm lens, 1/100 second, f22 and 800 ISO, and a corded flash.

The photo of Grubb Run at Shenk's Ferry in Lancaster County is loaded with 'natural' green (was not saturated in Photoshop). Photo taken with 17-55mm lens, 1/10 second, f16 and 500 ISO.

Bill, Love your macro shot. Your photography is great.

Nice shot Bill, Hannah loves it. She saw the droplets on our two mini pine trees last Wednesday and wanted to take a shot of them, but she had to get on the bus. She asked if she copied your photo if that would be alright. I told her imitation is the best form of flattery, however she already had the idea and it would probably not look like your image when she was done. I will make sure she sends some to you if she ever gets a foggy morning or a light rain.
