In operation since 1962, The Arc of York County's Camp Pennwood began another season of helping youngsters with disabilities two weeks ago. Throughout its six-week run, the camp is visited by volunteer groups or organizations that present programs for the kids.

Ellie hugs a rabbit during a petting zoo brought by the York County 4-H clubs. Xavier is dressed up in African garb during Nixon County Park's presentation about African animals and culture. And Aden is excited after shooting a bow and arrow.

The camp is improved by these visits and the campers enjoy seeing new faces, creatures and cultures.
