This summer's blowtorch continues today with temperatures in York County expected to reach 95 and humidity about 50 percent. Trying to capture York Countians trying to escape the heat -- we've done that a lot this summer-- we found a family wading in a Springettsbury Township creek.

Kendra Allison, 5, of York tries to wring the excess water from her hair Monday after dunking her head in the creek at Camp Security Park in Springettsbury Township. Kendra, her mother Tracey Higgins, sister Mariah Black, 11 months, and their Rottweiler often visit the park often to cool off or swing or slide. Temps exceeded 90 degrees, making this a day for wading in the creek.
