Abigail Stoner of New Oxford reacts to a guinea pig on her lap at the York Fair's Farm Animal Learning Center. Photo taken a 1/60, f4.5 and 1000 ISO at 125mm.

When taking pictures of small children, be sure to bend down to their eye level. Many of the photos in the YDR Readers Photos can be improved greatly with this one easy move. Generallly, only when trying to show the size difference of an adult and child, or illustrate the child's point of view does an adult eye level view work.
