There's still camping to be done

Pine Grove Furnace State Park is the closest state campground still open, since Pinchot and Codorus State Parks both closed for the camping season.

While the park is a quiet, out-of-the-way park most times of the year, this time of season is terrific. Some color still hangs on the trees, the lake is quiet and begging for canoes, birds are everywhere and the hiking trails are spectacular. For a real treat, try the strenuous Pole Steeple Trail. A superb view awaits the hiker who makes it to the top.

That was my parents you interviewed. They love to camp. They loved telling me about you and how you inerviewed them.

You have a good eye for capturing the best parts this old world. It is the simple things that makes life so good. Thank you for doing your part
