Winter's 'clean' could melt away this weekend

This weekend's weather promises to be a warm departure from what York Countians have seen since winter began, 'way back in December. Temperatures on Sunday and Monday are expected to reach the high 40s, so if you plan on shooting any winter pictures, you might want to get out on Saturday. Sunday temps will melt most of the snow and make nearly everyone happy.

Nearly everyone. Photographers-- maybe just this one?-- enjoy the white coat of 'clean'. This scene at Lauxmont Farms in Lower Windsor Township says quiet, calm and clean. Not cold. Of course, this winter has a long way to go. Remember the deep snows in March?

Photoshop was used to clean up the snow, darken the blue sky.

Photo taken at 1/250, f13 and 200 ISO at 22mm.

No Bil, you are not the only photographer that enjoys the "white coat of 'clean'." I would vote to keep it around. I am a little disappointed that it is all melting and can't wait for the next storm to come through.
