OK, you look up and see a plane flying east to west. In your mind, where is it going?
Was shooting photos of tundra swans and snow geese at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area Thursday morning and a sky full of jets got my attention, including this one that seemingly crossed through another's trail (unlikely).
Whenever I see a plane's trail , I wonder where it took off, where it's headed. Most of Thursday morning's crowd was flying east to west. So, I imagined they all left Philadelphia or New York (probably not) and were headed to wonderful destinations like Honolulu, San Francisco or Salt Lake City (maybe not).
They were probably flying to Minneapolis, Cincinnati or Memphis, but I imagine an adventure in a distant rarely-seen, exciting destination.
Photo taken with a 500mm mirror lens, 2x extender, at 1/2000 and 800 ISO. Photoshop used to clean up dust only.
