Apparently many of you have been the victim of a salesperson's perceptions.

One caller, a former car salesman, said he was reminded of have things have changed since the days when he sold cars.

A woman, who incidentally patronized the very same Large Local Furniture Retailer I did, was ignored for more than 20 minutes before she left the store. She said she planned to drop some "serious money" but:

I left and let me tell you, I will never set foot in that store again. What happen to "Customer Service". Does these folks realize that the customer is what get them their commission?

Another woman -- a divorced lady in her 60s -- was told she couldn't make any decisions about whether to buy the condo she was looking at without her husband.

I haven't heard from any salespeople yet. Maybe they're reading and taking notes. I guess there's always hope ...
