Groceries store programs helps customers save money on gas

| | Comments (1)

Do you use grocery store club cards to save money on gas prices?

As gas prices get more and more expensive, it seems like a really great way to save a few bucks at the pump. I know I try to rack up enough points in the grocery store to earn even a 10 cent discount.

Anything is better than paying full price.

Leave me a comment and let me know if you use them and how much you usually save.

I've been participating in Giant's gas program since its beginning and enjoyed the savings. But now with gas prices increasing nearly every other day, any savings disappear by the time I'm able to get the gas. My take on all this is if gas costs two, three, four or whatever times more than it used to then a tank of gas has to last me that long. I can do this because I'm retired and no longer need to drive to a job. And I stay home except for necessary trips such as appointments and to grocery shop.
