Overheard: Customer paying more than $73 for gas

When our religion reporter was at the gas station this morning, she heard one customer saying he put more than $73 worth of gas into his tank. Ouch.

My husband's truck costs at least $75 to fill and my dad's even bigger truck costs much more than $100. We are considering buying an extra small car and using the truck as a recreational vehicle because of our long work commutes...I bet a lot of people who aren't ready to say goodbye to their gas guzzlers are doing the same. Maybe used car sales are up.
