Moving back to cities, what does that mean for southern York County?

| | Comments (0)

An interesting story this morning in the New York Times about people in Denver wanting to actually move back into Denver from the suburbs. It's a growing phenomenon since gas prices are going up.

What does this mean for York County, where our city is trying to draw people back into living there, and yet most of our growth is in the commuter-oriented southern area near Shrewsbury and other towns?

Is anyone worried the cul-de-sacs along the Maryland line could one day be as empty as some blocks in the city?
