Facebook gets a facelift

My roommate from college e-mailed me in a panic a few days ago to tell me Facebook had changed...again.

But when I logged on, it looked the same to me.

This morning though, I noticed the switchover. More like the switchover smacked me in the face.

But after spending a few minutes poking around, I decided for the most part, I like the new site. It's cleaner than it was previously and it seems like the new design eliminates profiles that stretch on for miles because people added five million applications.

Photos are one thing that I noticed a big change with. Instead of being broken up by photos tagged by you and photos where you are tagged by others, now they all fall into one category.

I guess it makes sense, but I kind of liked the split.

As with any Facebook re-design though there are a bunch of privacy settings that you will need to change if you don't want other Web sites or social ads posting on your page. It's not a big deal, it's just something a lot of people might overlook. So make sure you make sure your privacy settings are set as you would want them to be.
