I saved more than $1,000 this year.
How, you ask? It's pretty simple: Starting last July, I pretty much have packed my lunch every day for work.
The savings adds up.
And I'm being conservative in my estimate.
I figured that if I bought lunch daily, it would cost an average of $6 a day. Multiply that by five for the work week? You get $30 a week. Multiply that by 48 weeks (take into account vacation, holidays, personal days) and that's $1,440 a year. I rounded it down to $1,200 because I know I didn't pack my lunch every day.
So, if you are looking for ways to save, start simply with packing a lunch. It adds up.

So, this is how you get your beading money? :)
