I don't know too many people who would object to the idea of a four day work week.

We work on a rotating Friday schedule. One week working four - 9 hour days and one 8 hour day. The second week work four 9 hour days with Friday off.
It works out for me, because I miss a lot of the traffic leaving DC for home. Plus, I get Friday to catch up on things (mostly sleep).
A Four day work week is a GREAT idea considering cost of fuel however many daycares would have to change their hours to accomodate us working moms.
