Comcast call works out

| | Comments (1)

From my friends and neighbors, I know that Comcast doesn't have the best reputation for responding to complaints or problems. However, my recent experience with the company did work out.

About two weeks ago, I noticed that the plastic Comcast utility box that hangs off the side of my house had been damaged. Some of the cables had started to peak out from under the cracked sides of the box. I'm not sure how or when the damage occurred, but my Dover Township neighborhood is no stranger to theft or other similar happenings. In any case, I contacted Comcast about the damaged box. A Comcast official told me that workers would be out between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday to fix the box. When I got home from work that day, that box had been repaired. I'm not sure if Comcast will charge me for the repair, but I just wanted to point out a situation in which a company sets an appointment and keeps it. That's rare. I'll let you know if I get charged for the repair.

Tsk, tsk. "Peak out" or peek out?
