My editor sent me the link to this map, which shows the gas price averages throughout the country.
I was surprised to see how low York and Pennsylvania as a whole ranked compared to other portions of the country.
I was really surprised to see that areas that have been hit pretty hard by the hurricanes recently weren't in the red. I was sure they would be.

Saw a $3.55 at the CITGO in Rossville on Saturday. This morning the EXXON Unimart at Rt. 177 & Industrial Dr. near exit 35/I83 was a whopping $3.69! Here's hoping these are not signs of what's coming elsewhere in the county.
I saw $3.55 this morning and I don't know why. Aren't oil prices going down?
Supposedly--the latest hurricane caused some of the refineries in Texas to shut down and--supposedly--it will take a few weeks to get them back on line. Also--supposedly--the latest hurricane severly damaged oil rigs off the Texas coast--supposedly. However, other broadcasters reported that the hurricane did mininmal damage to the oil rigs. So who & what are ya gonna believe?
