A little late...

Lately, members of the U.S. Congress has started to push for second stimulus package that could cost between $150 million to $300 million. First, let me start by stating that those massive funds will come from already-collected tax dollars. So, if the package is approved, the government will be giving you your money back to spend on stuff that your couldn't afford in the first place. Second, the timing of this package stinks.

I mean, if the government really wanted you to spend that money on junk, the checks would be hitting mailboxes now so consumers can spend the cash on holiday gifts. Now, at the earliest, we'll get the money in February. Which should be just in time to start paying off credit credits bloated with holiday debt. Government officials claim that they know the economic pain now felt by consumers. Well, next time don't be late with giving my money back.
