We've seen the construction on the outside of the CODO building at 241 N. George St. for months, so below are some pictures recently released showing what's inside the property.
It looks fairly sharp, and you can see the George Street skyline outside the one window.

A little background: CODO is a more than $11-million redevelopment project of the former York Auto Parts building, 241 N. George St. The structure will feature loft-style apartments, a rooftop lounge and street-level cafe. The building, with units designed for renters, is expected to attract young professionals to York.
So what do you think? Is this somewhere you would want to live?
The "click here" doesn't work. I cannot imagine paying a couple hundred thousand for living quarters across the street from a baseball stadium that will also be used for other events, none of them quiet. Fireworks, crowd noise, street noise, no doubt bands playing at times and whatever else the owners can put in there to pay the bills. It'll be like buying a house near an airport then filing complaints about the noise of planes landing and taking off!
To each their own... Some people enjoy that sort of activity. I would most certainly enjoy living there. It looks great!
Thanks for the catch, I believe I have the link working now. And yes, I agree, it has the potential to be a noisy environment. But then again, the young professionals they are trying to attract tend to like that kind of thing. I know I did at a point in time.
