Giant Food Stores has a new way to let its customers know about pistachio and peanut recalls.
The company's Web site on Tuesday launched two portals that monitor all pistachio and peanut recalls announced by the Food and Drug Administration, spokeswoman Tracy Pawelski said.
Giant's site also lists the products it has removed from its shelves.
Meanwhile, Weis Markets' site features a link in the middle of its main page to product recall information.
