Shopping before sun up in West Manchester Twp.

It was 3 a.m. on Black Friday and I hopped out of bed to see why my husband was on the laptop in the dining room.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“I just got done shopping,” he said.
Not online shopping. He just returned home.

He ventured out at 1 a.m.
He first tried Toys R Us. That was a madhouse, he said. Not only was the entire parking lot full, but the adjoining Ollie’s parking lot was full too.
Inside the store, the lines snaked throughout the aisles. Nothing on his list was on sale.
He left the store without buying anything and headed over to Walmart at the West Manchester Mall.
There were more lines and the parking lot was packed for it only being 2 a.m.
He was happy to tell me that he did the bulk of his shopping there.
There something to be said about STARTING your Black Friday shopping at 1 a.m. and being done before 3 a.m.

Crazy how Black Friday is now seeping into Thanksgiving Day.
Me? I rolled out of bed at 8 a.m. today and still got all the doorbuster deals I wanted without the madness. Almost done with my shopping and no rush or crowds — a very pleasant experience today at Hbg-area retailers.
