Revolving-door restaurant

The building near Route 30 off Kenneth Road in West Manchester Township seems to be a revolving door for restaurants.

Cheeseburger in Paradise, Wild Tuna and "A Diner" all occupied its walls during the last two years.

A Diner, its most recent occupant, closed earlier this month after barely one month in business.

The building's less-than-prime location, set back from Route 30 and Kenneth Road, probably didn't help its tenants.

Customers can access the building easily from Route 30. Customers coming from points northwest, though, can't make a left into the building's parking lot.

Two monolithic chain restaurants, TGI Friday's and Ruby Tuesday's, also occupy the same area, providing some pretty foreboding competition.

The latter two establishments dug their own graves. Lousy service, food quality, atmosphere and so on, even if attempted to be rectified, will mean a quick demise. Yorkers spread word quickly about their experiences and we have too many options to settle for junk.
