Hello, kettle. Meet pot.
General Motors is recalling 1.3 million cars sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. so it can repair faulty power steering motors.
Last month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration received 1,100 complaints that the cars had lost their power steering assists. The complaints included 14 crashes and one injury.
GM's recall comes on heals of the Toyota recall in which that car manufacturer called back 8.5 million cars for sticky gas pedals, problematic floor mats and break software issues.
Top executives at Toyota are now testifying in congressional hearings regarding the safety of the company's cars, not to mention the numerous apologies made by the manufacturer to its customers.
Do you think we're going to see GM executives hauled before our congressional leaders to explain its most current recall?
I don't think so. Fans are always easier on the home team, despite its error stats.

Now, if we could just shut up that guy in those Ford commercials!
