Cooking salmon

| | Comments (1)

I love to check out the different conversations on The Exchange, our local message boards.

A recent post mentioned cooking salmon. I love salmon and often order it when my family goes out to eat.

The grilling option on this post is something I want to try. And because this blog has a lot to do with money, I'm sure it's cheaper to cook salmon at home than paying for it in a restaurant. Healthier too, I bet, because you know exactly what's going into the meal.

I assume you read the post I started on salmon a week ago. If you haven't tried the panko breaded/black pepper/garlic salmon from Giant by all means do so if you like salmon. It is one of the best salmon preparations I've ever eaten. I think each portion is 6 oz. and it's $4.99 per piece. I can barely finish one piece but do so because it's so yummy. As for the planking method--waaaay to much trouble for one piece of fish!
