Barton Associates, a York engineering firm, and Transformations, a Shiloh hair salon, recently sponsored Tonia Grubb, a Barton Associates IT employee, to have her hair cut for Locks of Love.

And here is after the haircut.

Grubb's recent donation was her third time having her hair cut for Locks of Love, a nonprofit that makes hairpieces for financially challenged children with temporary or permanent hair loss.

Grubb spends more than three years re-growing her hair after each cut in order to prepare for her next donation.

"I've always been fortunate to have a thick head of hair," she said, "and I enjoy growing it to help those who are less fortunate."

Looks FANTASTIC, Tonya. I cannot believe it only takes three years to grow all those locks! By the way, I really enjoyed hearing you sing at the Prospect Cemetery Flag Memorial on 11/11
