Smokers Outlet renovation moving along

I was impressed at the pace with which Fred Fogelman is moving toward completing renovations at Smokers Outlet in Spring Garden Township.

Fogelman, the outlet's owner, plans to complete the renovations the week of Nov. 8, he said, which will include space on the ground floor to sell coffee and sandwiches and a second floor for storage, office space and an employee break room.

Many times, business owners will say they plan to complete a project or open a new business by a certain date, only to encounter delays.

The Smokers Outlet, however, appears to be well on its way to getting done on time. The project, from the outside at least, appeared to be almost done when I drove by there recently.

The outlet will stay open throughout the renovation, Fogelman said.
