Red Lion pizza shop celebrates 30th year

| | Comments (0)

Central Pizza, 33 N. Main St., Red Lion, will host a 30th anniversary celebration from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 29.

One of the interesting features of the celebration is that the restaurant will host a drawing in which someone will win a free pizza every week for a year, owner Maria Favorito said.

The restaurant opened in 1981. Before that, it was a seafood and produce shop, Favorito said.

Favorito said she has some customers who visited the shop as high-school students and still return every once in awhile even after getting married and having children. That, Favorito said, tells her that she is doing something right.
