I was by Bruster's on Tuesday, the ice cream shop in the Delco Plaza shopping center in West Manchester Township.
The shop was not open. A sign on its window said that it would be closed for the season beginning Nov. 15.
Several people apparently felt the shop should be open by now. While I was scoping the place out Tuesday, a guy pulled up, got out of his car, and looked at the shop, confused.
Is this place closed? he asked me.
It appears to be, I replied.
Someone also used a marker to write a message to the owner next to one of the signs:
"When do you reopen?" the message said.
The person also wrote "Answer here" and put a space next to it for the owner to answer.
As of Tuesday afternoon, however, the space was blank.

I passed a Bruster's in Lancaster Co. today. The weeds were grown up through the outdoor picnic tables. The place looked as though it was open with all the signs, menus, etc. in the windows, but it was obvious no one had been around the place for over a month.
