There’s a new cell phone war brewing.
Samsung has been making a lot of noise recently, and investors are wondering whether the company – which announced plans for a cloud-based music service to compete with iTunes – can overtake the market’s current king: Apple.
TheStreet has a full analysis of the situation.
I think it could happen.
I recently switched from an iPhone to the Samsung Note and I am very impressed. The amount of customization is incredible. I used to have to jailbreak my iPhones to get the amount of programming and customization freedom I now have with an Android.
For example, I have a customized SMS program, complete with pop-up quick reply windows which allow me to reply to a message while using any program. I had to jailbreak and install bitSMS to do that with my iPhone 4.
I used to totally be an Apple fan – much like some people were Blackberry users all the way – but now, I don’t know that I would ever go back to an iPhone.
And I think other users might say the same if they tried Samsung out.
What about you? Are you Team Apple or Team Samsung – or neither? Let me know in the comments!

So you are liking your Note. It’s been an ongoing “war” between Apple and Samsung. Apple recently held up the S III at the port with a patent dispute. It started a way back Samsung: We’ve sold 50M Galaxy S and S II phones. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57445269-93/samsung-weve-sold-50m-galaxy-s-and-s-ii-phones/ I have a GSII that is one of my favorite phones. I can see why they sold so many. Apple will always have fans and people who just like Apple.
