If you’re not Hersheypark, The York Revolution or another summertime attraction, odds are this season feels like a bit of a drag – customers want to be on vacation or basking in the outdoors, not in offices.
But there are ways to push those blues away, and TheStreet is highlighting an article that gives ways to beef up business this time of year.
One suggestion is to have a “customer appreciation” event – like an ice cream social or a hot dog grill. This will draw in customers (free food, duh) as well as remind them that you’re still around and willing to help them out.
Another is to support a charity – getting out of the office yourself this time of year will keep your name out there as well as allow you to enjoy the summertime.
