Last week, there was a lot of brush being torn down over by Carlisle Avenue and Brougher Lane, which leads into the West Manchester Mall.
I checked in with West Manchester Township Manager Kelly Kelch last week.
He said the mall’s new owner – a Texas-based investor — is clearing the area’s unwieldy brush to increase the visibility of establishments including Walmart, Macy’s and the like.
“They figure if they clear it out, people would be more likely to see the stores and shop,” Kelch said.
What do you think? Will the visibility of the mall increase its traffic?

It’s like…finally, the neighbor cleans up his back yard!!!!
Sure will be an improvement. It’s about time to get rid of that mess. Hopefully it will be landscaped more attractive.
I agree
I agree cleaning up the brush makes the mall more visible, I also think
he will get a lot of those empty stores filled and last I think he will
build somthing on those out parcels, Maybe a Red Robin or other
Resturant.

I don’t think that Carlisle Avenue and Brougher Lane should be cleaned only for the sake of more visitors at the mall. This should be a common thing every week. Where is the community here?
