What would you do with 5,000 gallons of free gas?

Sunoco gives away 5,000 free gallons of fuel every year as part of their Victory Lane sweepstakes.

This year’s winner is Ed Polakoff from Seven Valleys.

According to the Federal Highway Administration, the average American drives 13,400 miles per year.

If your car gets 25 miles to the gallon on average, you’re looking at 125,000 miles, or almost a decade, of free gas.

During summer months, Sunoco has spotters at thousands of retail locations looking for automobiles sporting the familiar Sunoco: Official Fuel of NASCAR decal. Spotted drivers win a $10 Sunoco gas card instantly, and are entered into the grand prize drawing for 5,000 gallons of Sunoco gasoline.

What would you do with 5,000 gallons of free gas? Where would you drive?
