My boss said those words to me last week when it seemed that almost everyone in our office was on vacation. (And he had just returned from one himself. )
We had been talking about the status of a project, a project that seems won't get done until the end of the month because all the players needed to complete it won't be in the office at the same time until then.
And soon after that I'm going on vacation.
