What people earn in the York-Hanover area

Full-time workers in the York-Hanover metropolitan area made $19.12 an hour, on average, in October 2008, according to a survey released Monday morning by the U.S. Department of Labor's bureau of labor statistics.

According to the bureau, registered nurses made $29.21 an hour, general office clerks made $14.50 and fast food and counter workers made $8.23, all averages.
