Local author Judy Wolfman will lead an intensive one-day seminar, Get the Creative Jucies Flowing, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 20 at Martin Library, 159 E. Market St., York.

A resident of Springettsbury Township, Wolfman is the author of the "Live on a Farm" series, as well as numerous other children's books, plays, short stories and articles. She is the co-founder of Central Pennsylvania Writers' Consortium, as well as a member of Pennwriters, York Writers and the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

Participants are asked to bring plenty of paper and writing utensils or a laptap computer.

Cost is $45 and registration may be made by contacting Fran Keller at 846-5300, ext. 225, or via e-mail at fkeller@yorklibraries.org. Class size is limited.
