Out with the old, in with the new

Sometimes, as much as we hate it, we have to part with our books.

What else can we do when there just isn't enough shelf space for all our recent purchases?

York County Heritage Trust wants to help out by accepting your gently read books for its annual Book Blast.

Donations may be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at the Historical Society Museum Library, 250 E. Market St., York. Magazines, Readers Digest books, textbooks and incomplete volumes will not be accepted.

This year's Book Blast will be held Aug. 14 though 16 (more details to come).

Questions? Call 848-1587, ext. 223, or e-mail lfourhman-shaull@yorkheritage.org.
