Joan Mallgrave to sign books
Local author Joan Mallgrave will sign copies of her mystery novel, "Secrets on St. Croix," from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at Sparky & Clark's Café at Martin Library. The library is at 159 E. Market St., York.
Mallgrave has resided in Manchester Township for 13 years. A research trip for her genealogy hobby led her to visit St. Croix. Her quest resulted in locating her great, great grandfather's grave and his original home. That visit was the inspiration for this first mystery effort which features the adventure and sleuthing of her "mature' heroine."
Books will be available for sale.
