"The Twilight Saga" by Stephenie Meyers

Here's a review from one of our readers, Loretta Martin:

"The Twilight Saga" by Stephenie Meyers

I'm not one who would choose a novel about vampires or werewolves for reading. But if that's the reason you're not devouring "The Twilight Saga" by Stephenie Meyers, you're cutting yourself off from some of the best reading "for kids" out there today.

Again, it started out with a few adults finding it good reading like they did for the Harry Potter series, and finding it not just a good read, but a compelling read. Yes, J.K. Rowling is hard to beat, but Stephenie Meyers seemed to rise to the task quite well.

It has romance, friendship, devotion, perilous journeys -- well, it covers just about everything you could want from a novel. You owe it to yourself to give the series a try. In fact, it's one of the few series I'm looking forward to reading again.

The love in this book stays with you long after you've finished reading it. At least it did for me, but I'm a sucker for romance.
