Wolfman to teach memoir writing class

Local author and educator Judy Wolfman will teach a memoir-writing class on eight consecutive Monday evenings, beginning Oct. 6., at Martin Library
The sessions will meet at 7 p.m. The class will encourage people of all ages to reflect on their past and form their memories into written memoirs to share with their families.
Wolfman, a storyteller and writing teacher at York County Libraries, is the author of nine nonfiction children's books (the Life on a Farm series), six children's plays, and 150 articles, short stories, poems, and finger plays for adult and children's magazines. She has also scripted theater stories based on folk tales and legends for teachers to use to help children read with expression in her book "How and Why Stories for Readers Theatre."
The memoir writing class is free, but due to limited class size, a $10 registration fee is required which will be refunded upon completion. To register for this class, click here or call the library at 846-5300, extension 440.
