In conjunction with the publication of its latest book, "Visions of Paradise," National Geographic is inviting the public to submit images that best represent their vision of heaven on Earth to the Visions of Paradise Photography Contest, Oct. 21-Dec. 21.

Each week, 20 Editor's Picks will be selected from all qualified entries and posted on the site where viewers can vote on their favorites. The Editor's Picks will also be judged by a panel of photographers and art directors who will select a final list of 20 winners. Each winner will receive a customized copy of "Visions of Paradise" with their winning photograph as the cover image.

To enter, go to www.nationalgeographic.com/myvision.

"Visions of Paradise" ($35) features 155 images captured by 82 world renowned photographers divided into three themes -- land, water and air. Each photo is enriched with the photographer's own recollections.
