Children are invited to participate in the 9th Annual Children's Literacy Festival, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.
Free books will be given to the first 500 children and there will be celebrity readers, entertainment, a visit by the Hershey characters, craft activities, plus book signings.
