One Response to East Berlin couple write book on discipline

This purported “parenting book” is more aptly described as a thinly disguised book encouraging abusive parenting. These author believe that “spanking” is the way to go and that leaving bruises that last a day or two is perfectly acceptable. As a former educator of 35 years, I am embarrassed that one of the authors claims to be a teacher as this book is so anti-child and pro-hitting that a clear animosity toward children permeates the rhetoric. I wonder how these authors sleep at night.
