My family’s planning a three-hour car ride to go to a picnic, after which, we’ll drive the three hours home again. For the ride there, we have the car stocked with books, notebooks and toys for the children. But the drive home will likely be dark, and they’ll be tired and bored.
I think an audio book might be the answer, but we need one that will keep a 3- and 7-year-old entertained while not putting the adult driver asleep.
Any suggestions?
