Alice Roekle of Conewago Township has written a 69-page novella, “The Space Station Murders,” which is available as an ebook for $3.50 from amazon.com or the publisher, museituppublishing.com. Roekle said her story is a mix of mystery and science fiction about an ex-cop investigating a series of murders of homeless people at the space station where he lives.

Carl Alves’ first novel, “Two For Eternity,” will be published Nov. 1 by Weaving Dreams Publishing. An engineer, Alves lives in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County. Alves said his book, the story of two immortal beings who have battled each other through the ages, is “a historical and contemporary fantasy that takes many controversial interpretations of history.” It will be available for $14.99 from amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.
