New books from local authors

Alice Roekle of Conewago Township has written a 69-page novella, “The Space Station Murders,” which is available as an ebook for $3.50 from or the publisher, Roekle said her story is a mix of mystery and science fiction about an ex-cop investigating a series of murders of homeless people at the space station where he lives.

Carl Alves’ first novel, “Two For Eternity,” will be published Nov. 1 by Weaving Dreams Publishing. An engineer, Alves lives in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County.
