This week: Dream Faire at Codorus State Park

Dream Faire performer Steven Courtney

Musician Steven Courtney will make an appearance at Dream Faire July 14 at Codorus State Park near Hanover. (SUBMITTED)

Music and stories and puppets, oh my! York County Libraries and Get Outdoors (GO) York will hold Dream Faire this weekend, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The annual event at Codorus State Park’s band shell in Hanover will feature musician Steven Courtney, storyteller George Matthew and puppet shows by the Paul Smith Library of Southern York County.

That’s not to mention the crafts, a visit by childhood favorite Corduroy and the chance to complete the Star Guide’s GO York checkpoints at the park. Oh, and it’s all free.

Bring your friends, family and a picnic lunch to make a day out of it. (Pack a lawn chair or blanket, too.) Food vendors will also be available.
