Father-son activities often bring to mind images of baseball, fishing and other sports or outdoor activities. But what if you and your son created something different — a book.

Mike and Ethan Sgrignoli, of Mechanicsburg, decided to work together on a poetry project: “Dinorific Poetry,” with words by Mike and illustrations by Ethan.

They’ll be hanging out with Midtown Scholar Bookstore, 1302 N. Third St., Harrisburg, on Nov. 17 for an interactive dino chat and book signing.

You can read some of their poems from Volume 1 and Volume 2 at their website, www.dinorhymes.com, before their sessions at 11 a.m. and noon. Visit www.midtownscholar.com or call 717-236-1680 for details.

One Response to Father-son duo Mike, Ethan Sgrignoli to visit Midtown Scholar

  1. Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the “virtual ink.” Ethan and I really appreciate the publicity and we love the Midtown.

Would love to bounce some ideas off of you that I have regarding independent book stores some time. Lots and lots of ideas…

    Best regards,
    Mike (and Ethan) Sgrignoli
