Tap into the antifragile in life
Do you think some things in life benefit from stress, disorder or turmoil? Nassim Nicholas Taleb does, and he makes his case in his latest book, “Antifragile: Things That Gain From Disorder.” In this book, Taleb expands from his ideas in “The Black Swan,” proposing that we build things in an antifragile manner. He asks and answers some of these questions: Why is what we call efficient not efficient at all? Why do government responses and social policies protect the strong and hurt the weak? How did the sinking of the Titanic save lives? Taleb takes from ancient and newer street wisdom to carve a blueprint for living.
